Women in Trades Career Fair

A middle and high school girls Women in Trades Career Fair is a one-day event designed to educate and inspire girls to explore career options in the trades. These careers include non-traditional energy jobs (ones where women comprise 25 percent or less of total employment), such as technicians and welders, but also expand to other trades in construction, manufacturing, and transportation. The Career Fair is based on a successful model used by the Oregon Tradeswomen in Portland, Oregon for the past 20 years.
