Get Into Energy Career Pathways Project
Last fall, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation awarded $300,000 to CEWD to fund the Get Into Energy Career Pathways Planning Project, which would create a model for evaluating state readiness to implement a career pathways system for low-income young adults, age 16 – 26, who are interested in energy careers. The Get Into Energy Career Pathways Model provides a roadmap for entry into skilled utility technician positions in the energy sector with pathways to higher-level jobs in a variety of work settings.
Below are links to the Final Report submitted to the Gates Foundation as well as the accompanying appendices. If you have questions about the project, contact Valerie Taylor, CEWD Educational Consultant at email@example.com.Get into Energy Careers Pathways Planning Project Final Report
